Our Story

JAI ELLE Tallow Co is a women-owned, family-owned company founded by Jennifer and Lauren, inspired by the strength and stories of four women—brought together through family, friendship, and a shared desire to create something better.

It began during a season of challenge and transformation. Jennifer, a long-time believer in holistic living, was navigating menopause and struggling to find clean, non-toxic beauty products that actually worked. At the same time, her beloved sister-in-law, Bernice, was battling cancer.

Frustrated by the lack of truly effective, non-toxic products, Jennifer, alongside her friend Edith, began experimenting in her kitchen. Combining hands-on creativity with deep holistic knowledge, each jar was carefully formulated, using only high quality, hand-picked organic ingredients- chosen with intention and purpose.

Inspired by Jennifer’s passion and excitement, Jennifer’s oldest daughter, Lauren, made a life-changing decision to leave her 10-year career in the beauty industry.  Having seen the inner workings of mainstream beauty, she was disillusioned by misleading claims and lack of integrity. She knew society deserved better options-and she knew her place was with her family, building something meaningful from the ground up.

Hailey, Jennifer’s youngest daughter and a mental health professional, helped shape JAI ELLE’s authenticity, direction, and branding, embracing a holistic approach that cares for both body and mind  

JAI ELLE was created because of real women, real stories, and real needs.
